Data Deletion Instructions

At DocoDive, we respect your privacy and your right to control your
personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of
your account and all associated data.
Your Rights
Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to request
the deletion of your personal data. When you request deletion, we will
remove all your personal information from our active databases,
including:
- Your profile information (name, email, username, avatar)
- Your uploaded books and covers
- Your comments, reviews, and ratings
- Your download history, favorites, and reading streaks
- Any social login associations (Google, GitHub, Facebook IDs)
How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion in two ways:
Email Request
Send an email to
[email protected] with
the subject line "Data Deletion Request". In your
email, please include the email address associated with your
DocoDive account so we can locate your data. We may ask for
additional verification to confirm your identity.
What Happens Next?

Once we receive your request, we will acknowledge it within 48
hours.

We will process your deletion request within
30 calendar days.

After deletion, your account will be permanently removed and you
will lose access to all services. Some anonymized data (e.g.,
aggregated statistics without personal identifiers) may be retained
for analytical purposes.
Important Notes

Deletion is irreversible. Once your data is
deleted, it cannot be recovered.

If you used social login, we also recommend revoking DocoDive's
access from your Google/GitHub/Facebook account settings.

Books you uploaded that were approved will remain in the library for
the public benefit, but your personal attribution will be removed.
